Hello there! My name is Cecilia Molinari. I’m an Italian mezzo-soprano who sings throughout the world.
I grew up surrounded by music, singing in the choir of my hometown when I was just a child, but my dream was to become a medical doctor and thus I went to University to pursue that dream.
During my medical studies I started studying classical music at the Conservatory in Padua, Italy.
I received a degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2015. In that very same year I auditioned for the Accademia Rossiniana in Pesaro, Italy where I sang for Maestro Alberto Zedda and I was invited to perform in the famous Rossini Opera Festival.
That summer changed my life!
…and here I am: a professional opera singer who deeply believes in the healing power of music.
